My Project and Vision
I'm Eliza Neumann, and I am part of the Edina Rotary Global Scholars Program at Edina High school. The program focuses on being a global citizen and how we can better the earth through the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals.) My focus is on SDGs 4 and 10: reduced inequalities and quality education. I am also on the STEM pathway. To combine those, I have developed the research question: how does access to learning materials affect a student's science education?

In hopes of answering my question, I have partnered with Sidi ou Sidi school in Morocco to hear a perspective from people currently faced with the issue. I have been working with Hassan Ait Man, an English teacher at the school, and the biology department to understand the learning environment and compile a list of resources they need.
