The big goal: an educational garden
Taroudant's tropical environment makes a garden the perfect place to perform ecological experiments year-round while using resources from their surrounding area.

Because a garden is growing, living, and multi-use it is a sustainable choice that can benefit the community beyond the school.

This makes adding a garden to the school's campus a primary goal of this drive.
Example from Hamilton High School
Example from Elgin School
The International Journal of Science Education states: "Some of the many touted benefits of schoolyard gardens include providing active, engaging, real-world experiences; enhancing students' connection to nature; offering a setting for integrated, holistic learning; and fostering nature-related values."
